Membership

Step One

To become a member of the Bulldog Club of America in Division I, you must live in Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Delaware or Pennsylvania or live in a foreign country.  If you live elsewhere, look on the Bulldog Club of America Web site  for information on the Division covering your local area.

Step two

Read through the application and the BCA Code of Ethics (on the back of the application).  The application can be obtained from the Division Secretary and is
available for download in .pdf format here - if you do not have Adobe Acrobat Reader, you can download it here.

 Step three

In order to become a member you must fill out the application.  If you download it, you must print out both sides (front and back).  Sign and date the membership application (doing so signifies that you have read and agree to, the BCA Code of Ethics)

 Step FOUR

Have your sponsor fill in their portion and sign and date the application. BCA requires that all applicants be proposed by a BCA member in good standing. Any membership application not signed by a BCA member in good standing will not be considered.

Step FIVE

Either mail your completed and signed application back to the Division Secretary where you reside or give it to any any Officer, Board member or Councilor along with with the membership fee.  If your application is for foreign membership, please mail it to the Division Secretary where you will be associated (Usually where your sponsors reside). Include a check with your annual fees.

·        $25.00 per domestic (USA) member.

·        Foreign members $35.00 (US Dollars).

·        There is an additional mailing fee for members living outside the US: $10 for Canada and Mexico; $40 elsewhere.)

Step Six

Your application will be voted on at the next meeting of the Board of the Division.
 

Information on all division meetings are posted on the web site under Meetings and all members are invited to attend the meetings and actively work with the Board to make this the premier Division in the Bulldog Club of America.  Besides the opportunity to participate in Division activities, a major advantage of membership it the ability to receive the quarterly publication of the Bulldog Club of America, The Bulldogger.  The booklet, averaging over 200 pages, if full of beautiful photos of outstanding bulldogs and informative articles about the breed, discussing the history of the breed, questions and answers from experienced breeders about the breed, advances in veterinary care, legislative issues affecting all of us, training issues and information about specialty shows for bulldogs throughout the country.  These booklets alone are well sufficient reason to join the the club
